Anonymous: favourite beauty products right noww??

clinique acne solutions spot treatment gel (I love this because I can target specific zits and not dry out my entire face, as my skin is already a little dry from the colder weather)

l’occitane en provence fresh face water (very refreshing! I spray a few sprays over my face and neck before I go to sleep to keep my skin hydrated overnight. if I decide to wear a moisturizer at night instead, I’ll spray it in the morning and it wakes me up!)

nars laguna bronzer (surprisingly this bronzer compliments most skin tones included my porcelain skin)

chanel rouge coco shine in #60 antigone (prettiest pink/berry shade ever)

kiehl’s mango lip balm (mmMmm is all I can say)

marc jacobs daisy eau de parfum (mmmMmmm)

moroccanoil intense repair mask (my hair gets extremely dry during the cold months so I somewhat rely on a hair mask once every week and a half)

covergirl lashblast mascara (best mascara ever for the price!!)

i know its kinda annoying cause i made a post already about sally hansen nail effects but if you purchase them and after you apply them, you find a corner is peeling……………

apply a little bit of topcoat on your nail and push the peeled part back in place

sally hansen salon effects
#350 misbehaved
I wanted to try these for a while so I picked up two boxes at walmart for 8.95 each (#340 girl flower too but I have an interview this week and I didn’t want to show up with nails from the 70’s). Because of the price and the fact that they come with 16 strips which is not enough for two applications, I decided to cut them in half and I have 10 strips left (which I could cut in half and actually squeeze three applications out of them in total which would be nice).
note: if your nails are super long, most likely you won’t be able to cut them in half so they fit two nails.
it took a while to apply because I wasn’t used to it but I really like them and I think they look pretty cool. I’d buy them again~
what do you guys think?!

Anonymous: whats your skincare routine??

I don’t know what you mean by a routine but I cleanse my face everyday (and use a moisturizer), I exfoliate about 3x a week and I use a clay mask about 2x a week. The days where I exfoliate, I wear a night cream too. I can’t exfoliate/use a mask every night because it’ll dry out my skin unfortunately!

Anonymous: Any ideas on how to make very fine, thin hair look fuller?

Blow dry your hair upside down and use a little hairspray near the roots to make it bigger and fuller. You could shampoo and condition with products that will give you volume and make sure the hairspray is too. Basically, if you use products that create more volume, they’ll be lighter and weigh your hair down less :). You can also tease your hair HOWEVER I don’t recommend that because it damages your hair.

Anonymous: I hate to be a bother, I was just wondering if you are going to post some fall hair styles for shorter/shoulder length hair?

Thank you.
Hope you're having a fantastic day!

You could definitely add a little sea salt spray to your hair to give it a beachy/wavy look. Waved bobs and longer bobs (with a fringe) are definitely a trend for shorter hair. Definitely take a look at how Abbey Lee Kershaw’s hair was styled with her bob. You could pin it up too. Make a messy bun on the top of your head and use bobby pins for the pieces of hair that do not fit. You could leave a few strands down too.

Thank you! I hope I helped~

Anonymous: i love the new colour trend at the moment, how can i wear colour make up? and can i wear bright eyes and lips or just one, what colours would look good on an olive complexion with light brown hair?

I’d suggest just picking one feature and using a bright colour (so don’t use a bright colour on your eyes and lips at the same time). Greens, purples and blues would look awesome. As for lip colour, I’d go with a coral/orange or a bright pink. I’m jealous of your skin tone!

I made a little advice post a week ago on how to wear colour on your eyes so click here for it!

Anonymous: what kinds of things do you eat? like do you eat really healthy or junk food stuff? your skin is flawless.

Wow, thank you! I’m really anal when it comes to my skin and I make sure to drink a ton of water and I cleanse it and moisturize it daily. I wear an SPF 15 moisturizer every morning too. I do tend to eat healthy because my parents are health freaks and I grew up not eating much junk food however I do cheat. I eat plenty of eggs, chicken, vegetables (mushrooms, onions, broccoli, celery in particular), fruit (mainly clementines and I stay away from bananas) and tofu. I’d recommend eating fish if you like it but I don’t eat much of it because I don’t love it. I try not to drink much juice and eat past 7pm. I think if you change some of your eating habits (if they’re not too good), drink lots of water and cleanse and moisturize your skin daily (you don’t even need to invest in expensive products, neutrogena works great), you’ll see a huge change!
