i used to use a flat iron but when i was in a thrift store, i found a section with different hair tools and i found this unopened babyliss wand so i picked it up for 5 bucks
it looks like that and i bet you could find a similar one. it creates cool messy curls/waves instead of perfect ones w/a regular wand or flat iron :)
